About this Event

Join Neil Squire’s Makers Making Change at this exciting event where volunteers will adapt toys for children with disabilities!

In celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, this event is part of Makers Making Change's Hacking for the Holidays cammpaign, presented by Air Canada Foundation. Every fall season, we provide switch adapted toys to families for the Holiday season by engaging volunteers — students, corporate partners, and other community members — in events across 10 provinces to help us adapt and donate 2,500 toys and switches to families and clinicians all over Canada.

Volunteers will test toys, build switches, preparing devices for shipping as well as learn about adaptive gaming.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
