Hackers: 31st Anniversary Watch Party Experience
About this Event
Let Curiosity Be Your Crime
Join us for a one-night celebration of Hackers (1995), the movie that helped define a generation’s vision of hacker culture, cyberpunk style and the early digital underground.
We’re bringing together fellow hackers, nerds, misfits and ’90s cyberpunk fans from around the DMV for an immersive night built around the movie and the culture surrounding it.
The night will include a Hackers look-back, trivia contest, Hackers 'fashion show', a screening of the movie, open discussion and bonus content. There’ll also be a photobooth, unique prizes and event merch. Every attendee gets some free stuff —and yes that includes a neon floppy disk.
Food and drinks will be provided. We'll be having all the foods featured in the film including pizza, beer, chips, and JOLT cola. It ain't healthy but these are the key food ingredients for the elite hacker. Expect plenty of ’90s electronica and other surprises throughout the night.
Don't forget to wear your favorite Hackers t-shirt or hoodie or dress in full 90s cyberpunk cosplay. Best costumes/outfits shall be rewarded!
After the event there's an optional after-party at Game On Arcade & Bar in Columbia. No need to RSVP, it's just a show up and pay-your-own-way hangtime till late (Venue is just a few miles away).
Space is intentionally limited, so RSVP to claim your spot. Conviently located in Columbia, MD just minutes from Route 175, Route 95, and Route 100.
Remember, Hacker's Day is just a few days before so show your love and HACK THE PLANET.

About Your Venue Host
ADG Creative is a full-stack creative studio in Columbia, MD that has been uncomplicating brand and business stories for commercial and public-sector clients for nearly 30 years. They’re strategists, designers, developers and storytellers who specialize in tackling complex ideas and turning them into experiences people actually want to engage with.
They’re also curious, crafty and a little caffeinated — which makes ADG a pretty perfect place to take over for one night and celebrate Hackers, cyberculture and the beautifully weird digital world of 1995.
