Habitats That Nurture Pollinators - They’re Pretty Too!
At Reems Creek Nursery
Sat. June 20, 2026
10-11:30 AM
With Ruth Gonzalez
Create a nurturing garden habitat that supports pollinators. Did you know that loss of habitat is one of the main reasons for the decline of pollinators? You can help. Planting your little patch of ground or even that pot on your balcony makes a difference for the butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, and more.
We will discuss the basic needs of pollinators, the extra support that native plants bring to the table, and strategies for keeping your garden happy, blooming, and presentable in HOA neighborhoods.
Flowers blooming through the season, bumblebees buzzing about, the flittering of butterflies, and witnessing hummingbirds sipping nectar - what’s not to love? Plant with your heart and soul to reinvigorate your garden – vibrant life and color are the paybacks!
One garden at a time, every little bit of habitat we create makes our world a better place.
Free, but you must pre-register.
It's Pollinator Palooza too! Join us for awesome Music by Songbird Society from 12 - 2 PM, and enjoy drinks and snacks from delicious Runaway Cafe Food Truck from 9-2.
**IMPORTANT: Our classroom space is limited. If your plans change and you are unable to attend, please be considerate and cancel your ticket in Eventbrite so that others may have your space. Thank you for your consideration!
