This program introduces participants to the beauty and benefits of Virginia’s native plants and their vital role in supporting local wildlife. Learners will discover how native species provide food, shelter, and habitat for birds, pollinators, and mammals. The program emphasizes practical steps for creating sustainable landscapes. Part of this program will be outside, weather permitting. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring sunscreen if needed.
