BE A CHANGE MAKER!
YOUR one hour of time will help make a difference in improving habitat for wildlife, pollinators and birds.
Join our friendly group for a rewarding hour planting a variety of native plants in the Cariboo Heights forest in Burnaby!
FREE Event and lots of FREE parking!
Adult and Family friendly activity.
Volunteer hour certifcates available upon request.
We supply work gloves and all tools required...and... there will be snacks!
DATE: Saturday, November 2nd, 2024
TIME: 2:00pm - 3:00pm
AGES: 10 - adult. Kids under 14 will need parent supervision.
BE PREPARED:
-dress for the weather (raincoat if needed)
-long sleeves and pants are recommended
-sturdy closed toe shoes (work boots, hiking boots, trail hikers, robust rubber boots)
-full water bottle
NOTE:
There are no washroom facilities at this site
The event will be cancelled if there is heavy rain or strong winds.
