For the very first time in the town ‘Shrigandha Kannada Balaga (SKB) brings you unique program featuring Classic Indian forms of Dance and Music called ‘Goteborg Kala Utsav’ in Collaboration with House of Possibilitas.
‘Goteborg Kala Utsav’ is a festival of celebration of Music and Dance of various Indian art forms of Music and Dance. Literally speaking 'Kala' in Sanskrit means various forms of Art and 'Utsav' is festival. This is also timed around two of great Indian Festivals ‘Navaratri’ (Festival to worship Mother Durga and various forms of Feminine Power) and ‘Deepavali’ (Festival of Lights )
Now we have three esteemed and diverse groups from our own Little Digital Village of Gothenburg participating in one of first and unique event in the twon.
- Jugalbandi Dance Group will mesmarize you with their Bharathanatyam Performance
- Nrithya Group will enchant you with their Kathak Performance
- SwaraTaranga Group will taken you on an enthalling and divine musical journey with their performance
