About this Event
GÀLLERTE: 'a commodity, a jelly made from ground animal bones... human labour in the abstract - boiled down to condiments.'
Join us for our SECOND performance of Gàllerte: a contemporary dance and physical theatre performance. Set in a pub basement, dancers explore the concepts of gender, physical labour and the horrors of the working world while uncovering it's impact on our identity and relationships. Gàllerte asks us to question our connection to capital, and dares us to watch.
Doors will be open at 18:45, no entry past 7:50pm. The show will be approximately 40-50 minutes, followed by an informal round table with the artists upstairs in the main bar area.
We are offering three price range options for your tickets: £3, £5 or £8. All ticket sales will go towards the future of this project, we will also be collecting cash and card donations on the night!
