About this Event

Please note: this event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library.

Join us for a session of role-playing games, perfect for all skill levels! We'll be playing two beginner-friendly sessions alongside each other, The Quiet Year" and "There but for the Geese of God".
Both games are free to join, and whether you're a seasoned player or new to tabletop RPGs, you're welcome here. Plus, after the session, you'll have the chance to join GZL's monthly RPG meet-up group.
When you book your ticket, you'll be able to select which game you'd like to play.
THE QUIET YEAR is a map game. You define the struggles of a community living after the collapse of civilization, and attempt to build something good within their quiet year. Every decision and every action is set against a backdrop of dwindling time and rising concern. The Quiet Year occupies an interesting space – part roleplaying game, part cartographic poetry. Find out more here: buriedwithoutceremony.com/the-quiet-year
THERE BUT FOR THE GEESE OF GOD is a free one-page RPG where you, an archangel but also a fourth-century goose, must lead Martin of Tours to sainthood via a series of convoluted schemes. Find out more here: rowanrookanddecard.com/product/there-but-for-the-geese-of-god
