GZL Role-Playing Games Night

Please note: this event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library.

Join us for a session of role-playing games, perfect for all skill levels! We'll be playing two beginner-friendly sessions alongside each other, The Quiet Year" and "There but for the Geese of God".
Both games are free to join, and whether you're a seasoned player or new to tabletop RPGs, you're welcome here. Plus, after the session, you'll have the chance to join GZL's monthly RPG meet-up group.
When you book your ticket, you'll be able to select which game you'd like to play.
THE QUIET YEAR is a map game. You define the struggles of a community living after the collapse of civilization, and attempt to build something good within their quiet year. Every decision and every action is set against a backdrop of dwindling time and rising concern.The Quiet Year occupies an interesting space – part roleplaying game, part cartographic poetry. There will be 13 attendees maximum, and the event will feature comfort breaks. During this event, participants will be involved in: Group Discussions, Break out rooms / Small group discussions, Hands on activities, Reading, Writing, Role-playing

This event will take place at the GZL space on Albert Road in Govanhill.

If this event falls on a strike day and is cancelled, we will work with event leaders to reschedule the event asap.
