Every year, more than 100,000 women are diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer. These are cancers that start in the reproductive organs and are often detected late because many of the symptoms are often attributed to common, less serious ailments. Join us for lunch as Piedmont Gynecologic Oncologist Mitzie-Ann Davis, MD, MPH, FACOG explains the risk factors, signs and symptoms of common GYN cancers. This session is a must for all women to bring awareness about their bodies, increasing their chances of early detection and successful treatment.
