The Barony of Gyldenholt invites you to join them in celebrating the skill, valor, and the honor of the Unbelted Armored Combat Fighters of Caid. The theme of the day is “Just Warming Up!” During these chilling winter months, we ask you for displays celebrating the ways we keep warm, keep cozy, or other warming arts/activities.
Combat will be a single elimination style tournament. A second life may be gained with a submission of an Arts & Sciences entry or a Bardic piece. Entries will be on display for the populace to enjoy in a static display. After submission, fighters will be given a token to give to the list officer, redeeming their second life (If you plan to take your entry into combat, please provide a photo and a brief description of the piece for the display).
Once again, we will sponsor a “Most Well-Rounded Fighter” of the day competition. The winner will be selected from among the fighters who enter the most events (A&S, Bardic, Tournament). Sign up at the List table. There will also be a People's Choice Fighter Edition competition. The populace will be able to vote for fighters based on their combat prowess, chivalric behavior, their beauteous armor, or even how well they die. Votes can be cast during or immediately following any fight throughout the day.
While Unbelted is a celebration of the Kingdom's armored combat fighters, all are welcome to participate in the events of the day, including A&S display and bardic.
SCHEDULE:
7:00am - Site set up
8:00am - General set up
9:00am - Lists open
10:00am - Opening Court (at TRM pleasure) followed by the Tournament
After Court - Bardic performances will be held in the Gyldenholt Pavilion at
Their Excellencies’ Pleasure
4:00pm - Closing Court and site clean up
EVENT REGISTRATION: $20 for Adults, or $10 with the Adult Member Discount. Children 17 and under are guests of the barony, but parents must still sign the minor waiver form or present a valid membership card. Make checks payable to “SCA, Inc. Barony of Gyldenholt.”

From the North - Take your best route to I-5 South. Exit 101A Tustin Ranch Rd. and turn left. Go approximately 2.5 miles and turn left onto Pioneer Way. Turn right onto Pioneer Rd. The park entrance will be on the left.
From the South - Take your best route to I-5 North. Exit 101A Tustin Ranch Rd. and turn left. Go approximately 2.5 miles and turn left onto Pioneer Way. Turn right onto Pioneer Rd. The park entrance will be on the left.
