🥾11 miles 🥾 Strenuous 🥾 Walk Leader: Ellen 🥾This walk starts from Millington Wood car park and heads along the road for a short distance before peeling off over a footbridge on to the Chalkland Way / Minster Way / Yorkshire Wolds Way. There is then a steep ascent and decent over the wolds in to Frendal Dale, leading in to Tun Dale.
After a short wooded section, we reach a quiet road and head down a farm track through Wold House Farm to Holm Dale, where we will have lunch. There is a climb up to the ridge along Horse Dale, where there is a lovely view point at Huggate poetry bench. We will follow the ridgeway across some fields and along Pasture Dale, until we reach the road, which we follow along Millington Dale back to Millington Wood.

🅿️Millington Wood Car Park. There is only space for about 20 cars here, so please car share wherever possible! There is additional parking next to the church in Millington Village, but this is about a 20 minute walk along the road from the start point.

🐶Dogs are welcome on this walk but must be kept on a lead at all times due to livestock in the fields
