Gwinnett Wellness Community Tube Ride, Potluck, and Music Jam

You are invited to join us for an adult tube ride this Friday!
Please arrive between 12:30 and 1pm. We will inflate the tubes and carry them on a short walk to the Yellow River together. The tube ride is between 2.5 and 3 hours long. This section of the river is low and slow.
This is a jungle tube ride. There are low hanging branches on the sides of the river which you will need to navigate away from with an ore.
There are lots of birds, including blue herons. You may also find a snake sunning itself, and spiders in the trees.
We go by the Yellow River Sanctuary as well so you will hear lots of birds and monkeys then.
If the water is low, you will have to get out of the tube and walk it around some fallen trees throughout the trip.
If you need to get out early, there are some spots where we could get out and walk back to the house.
There will be a truck at the pick up location which will shuttle everyone back to our starting location.
We should arrive back by 5pm.
Afterwards, we will have an optional potluck and music jam. Please bring a dish to share if you want to stay for that.

Weather Permitting, this event will be updated Friday morning if we need to reschedule due to rain.
RSVP is required by Thursday. I will give you more details then. We have two person tubes for 10 people and 4 single person tubes. If you have your own tubes, please bring them.
