**Mae'r digwyddiad hwn wedi'i hwyluso gan Deborah de Lloyd, Cynrychiolydd Dysgu Undeb Llawrydd ar gyfer Bectu fel rhan o brosiect sgiliau Cymru Greadigol.**

Mae'r gweithdy 2 ddiwrnod hwn yn ddelfrydol ar gyfer unrhyw un sy'n gweithio o fewn yr Adran wisgoedd naill ai ym myd teledu + Ffilm neu Theatr ac sydd â diddordeb mewn dysgu'r technegau a ddefnyddir i heneiddio gwisgoedd i lawr.

Diwrnod 2

Gan ddefnyddio'r sgiliau o'r diwrnod cyntaf, dylech allu:

• Gwneud tyllau bwled
• Llwch a phowdrau
• Chwalu gwisgoedd wedi'u hurddo.
• Pylu, rhwygo a thyllau
• Sgiliau arsylwadol. Ateb cymaint o gwestiynau a phosib !.

Erbyn diwedd y cwrs byddwch yn gallu:

• Defnyddio llifyn i greu tecstilau gofidus, wedi torri i lawr.
• Creu dyfnder a symudiad mewn ffabrig.
• Dangos technegau Dadansoddi Sylfaenol

Hyfforddwraig - Rosi Flood

Ar ôl astudio cerddoriaeth yn y Conservatoire Birmingham, hyfforddodd Rosi mewn Dylunio Gwisgoedd a phaentio Gwisgoedd. Mae hi wedi mwynhau gyrfa hynod lwyddiannus yn ymestyn dros dri degawd. Mae Rosi wedi gweithio o fewn yr adrannau Gwisgoedd a Chelf ym myd y theatr, teledu a ffilm. Yn ddiweddar cafodd ei chomisiynu i wisgoedd gwaith yng nghyfres ddiweddaraf Dr Who.

Mae ei phortffolio yn cynnwys drama a enillodd BAFTA BBC Cymru 'Hinterland', sy'n cael ei chanmol yn genedlaethol 'The White Princess' a chynhyrchiad newydd gan y BBC o nofel epig Victor Hugo, 'Les Miserables', yr oedd Rosi yn Brif Artist Tecstilau ar ei chyfer.

Mae Rosi wedi gweithio ar ffilmiau mawr. Mae'r rhain yn cynnwys The Pirates of The Caribbean 5, The Nutcracker gan Disney a'r Four Realms, Paddington 2 a'r ffilm nodwedd arfaethedig Tolkien. Mae ei gwaith teledu yn cynnwys y gyfres deledu lwyddiannus Atlantis, Merlin, Da Vinci's Demons a The Living and the Dead.

This 2 day workshop is ideal for anyone working within the Costume dept either in TV + Film or Theatre and interested in learning the techniques used to distress and breakdown costumes.

Aim

The aim of this hands-on workshop is to introduce you to the costume ageing process that is used to create character and signify a time in history.

B y the end of the session you should be able to:

Day 1

• Dyeing & Colour theory
• Creating the point of neutrality
• Warm and Cold tech
• Dipping down etc.
• Period colours
• Shaving off brightness etc.

Day 2

Using the skills from day one you should be able to:

• Bullet holes
• Dust and powders
• Break down hired costumes.
• Fading, ripping and holes
• Observational skills. Answering as many questions as possible !

By the end of the course you will be able to:

• Utilise dye to create distressed, broken down textiles.
• Create depth and movement in fabric.
• Demonstrate Basic Breakdown techniques

What to wear on the day

P lease wear old clothes as you will be working with dye. Masks and all equipment will be provided.

Trainer - Rosi Flood

After studying music at the Birmingham Conservatoire, Rosi trained in Costume Design and Costume painting. She has enjoyed an extremely successful career spanning three decades. Rosi has worked within the Costume and Art departments in theatre, television and film. Recently she was commissioned to work costume in the latest series of Dr. Who.

Her portfolio includes BBC Wales’ BAFTA winning drama, ‘Hinterland’, nationally acclaimed ‘The White Princess and this year’s forthcoming BBC production of Victor Hugo’s epic novel ‘Les Miserables’, for which Rosi was Chief Textile Artist.

Rosi has worked on major feature films. These include The Pirates of The Caribbean 5, Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, Paddington 2 and the forthcoming feature film Tolkien. Her television work includes the successful television series Atlantis, Merlin, Da Vinci’s Demons and The Living and the Dead.

Mae gweithdai CULT Cymru yn cael eu darparu mewn amgylchedd cyfeillgar ac anfygythiol ble bydd cyfranogwyr yn cael cyfle i ofyn cwestiynau a chodi materion yn ystod y dydd.

CULT Cymru workshops are delivered in a friendly and non-threatening environment where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and raise issues during the day.

Cancellation and Refunds Policy

A full refund will be issued to delegates who cancel at least 2 weeks prior to the event. Delegates who cancel within the 2 week period will not be eligible for a refund unless we are able to find someone else to take their place. Please let us know as soon as possible if you find you're no longer able to attend the workshop.
