Girls Golf Cymru aims to introduce golf to girls and encourages further participation in the sport through creating a fun and fluid environment. The Girls Golf Cymru Clinics are tailored towards junior girls (U18), for those who are members at a golf club AND those who have never played golf before. The clinics are a great way for young people to meet others who play golf, build friendships, and experience playing different golf courses.

There is one clinic a month in South East Wales throughout the winter months (October-March). The November clinic will be based on the golf course, where the girls will gain experience playing the game of golf, whilst also learning golf course etiquette, and how to mark a score card (there will be a break for lunch as provided by the club).

This event provides the girls with an opportunity to improve their skill, gain a WHS Handicap Index, and to play more competitive golf. Various competitions will be run throughout the day to encourage and challenge the girls to develop further e.g. longest drive.

There will be a fun activity such as painting/decorating cakes during lunch time – most importantly the girls can relax and enjoy themselves!
