Learn to preserve your vegetables through fermenting them in brine… This helps to keep your produce edible for longer and the salt water creates an environment where bacterial magic can happen!
Turning your humble cabbage into a powerful pro-biotic food is one of the best things you can do to promote healthy digestion. In this session we will taste various fermented vegetables and learn to make Sauerkraut and Fizzy Carrot Sticks. Please bring your favourite knife and chopping board. You’ll be creating a jar of brine pickle to ferment at home.
Workshop led by Claire Mace, 2:30-5pm at Canolfan Cefnfaes, Bethesda.
