GW Center for Law and Technology- Speaker Series: Melissa Eckhause

Join the GW Center for Law and Technology for our first speaker series lecture of the Spring 2025 semester.

Melissa Eckhause is an Assistant Professor of Law and the founder and co-director of the Arts & Entertainment Law Clinic at Detroit Mercy Law. Through her work at the clinic, she has advised both claimants and respondents in CCB matters. She also received a Thomas Edison Innovation Law and Policy Fellowship to study the CCB. Prior to entering academia, Professor Eckhause was an intellectual property and commercial litigator with several major law firms.
