Fusion is a dance that is created by combining elements of a variety of different dances to make a fun and improvisation partner dance. It is fun for both dancers with experience in other dances and those new to dance due to its simple basic that can be quickly learned and built on.See examples of Fusion Dancing and learn more about our event / what to expect on our website! https://greenvillefusiondance.com/home

Lesson Details:
Intro to Fusion: In this lesson we will take you through our “survive and thrive” basics, in which we will cover the moves you are most likely to encounter with other dancers during the night. This includes basic patterns, partner connection and pulse. With our help you’ll be ready to join us on the dance floor in no time!
Continuation Lesson:
“The Rhythm Of Silence”
What would dancing be like if you were no longer able to hear music? Music is anhuge part of our inspiration when we dance, but without it would we stop dancing? in the same way that we might lean into partnership, visual cues, and body language from our partner if there was no music, we can harness this partnered-centered rhythmic creation in our dance to make rich layers of connection and texture!
As a part of our “Dancing With Disabilities” series, we are exploring this topic as one that would help us to dance with a someone who is Deaf, but also to consider what it feels like to consider what changes we can make to keep dancing no matter what changes in our bodies.
We will give you practical exercises so you can enhance your dance-adaptability for your present and future self.
Music for the evening:
We have a wide variety of music, from Blues, to WCS, to Latin-inspired music. We look for tunes that we can dance a variety of styles, or fuse styles together to. Our DJs will keep you on the floor all night long!
DJ Line Up:
J Joseph - Victor Chen - Jessica Loflin - Kayla Birstein
Pro Tips:
