Join us for an upcoming program on 100 Years of the Charleston Dance. Learn the history of the dance and partake on learning the dance itself – no experience required! For some of the events, there will be ukulele performances by the local group, Predominately Ukulele Union, performing popular songs from the Roaring 20’s. The program will be hosted by the North Myrtle Beach Area Historical Museum and classes will be taught by Paul McTaggart. Tea will be served, sponsored by Bojangles of North Myrtle Beach. It will be the bees knees!
The Museum is located at 799 2nd Avenue North North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. The first Guys and Dolls Tea Dance will be held on Friday, July 3rd at 1 PM and will be held on the first Friday of each month. This event is free and open to all ages. 1920’s attire is welcomed but not required! For more information, reach out to the Museum at 843-427-7668 or Paul McTaggart at 843-798-2639.
