You are invited to celebreate one of the most auspicious day in the Vedic (ancient) calendar, "Guru Purnima" with a traditional Vedic Flower Ritual.
During Guru purnima take time to acknowledge our teachers and teachings, which comes in all shapes and forms. We recognise the insight of their wisdom, messages, guidance and love we have been giving the opportunity to grow into our lives and our paths.
The flower offering is a symbolic action meaning "Thank you for the divine knowledge and guidance. May this light always be upon me".
During this event, we all have a special seating arrangement and our very own "Guru light". To ensure that you are included in this arrangement, kindly book and pay by 16 July 2026
Please bring a large bowel of flower petals for your offerings.

6.10 pm: Guru Vedic Mantra
6.20m: Flower offering to Guru's light
6.50 pm: Kirtan
7.30 pm: Shanti Mantra's
7.45 pm: Prasad (Food offering) - Soup and Snacks
8.30 pm: Evening Concludes
The word "Guru" in Sanskrit is translated as "dispeller of darkness." Hence the Guru dispels the darkness of ignorance and leads the aspirants on the path to enlightenment. The day of Guru Purnima is traditionally the time when seekers offer the Guru their gratitude and receive his blessings. Guru Purnima is also considered an especially beneficial day to practice yogic sadhana and meditation.
