Welcome back for April’s gathering of the Gumbo Bottoms Single Pot Still Poetry Society! This month, Barbara Leonhard will regale us with tales of AI angst and android love in the not so distant future, among many other adventures! Open mic to follow her feature.
Barbara Harris Leonhard is the author of The Lost Book of Zeroth (Alien Buddha Press,2025); Three-Penny Memories: A Poetic Memoir (EIF-Experiments in Fiction, 2022) and co-author of Too Much Fun to Be Legal (Garden of Neuro Publishing, 2024). Another book of collaborative poetry book called Broken Rengay is forthcoming with Prolific Pulse Press in July 2025. Her poetry has received awards and honors from Well-Versed 2021 and Spillwords Press. She’s a nominee for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. Trending Poets named her Poet of the Year 2023. Some of her poems have been translated into Italian, Albanian, and Chinese. Barbara is the Editor for MasticadoresUSA, a Co-Poetry Editor for LatinosUSA-English Edition, and the Editor for her literary journal, FEED THE HOLY.
