Helping Children Process Grief in a Safe, Supportive Environment 💙
The Gulfside Days of Hope Kids Bereavement Camp is designed to provide children who have experienced the loss of a loved one with a safe, engaging, and understanding space to express their feelings and begin to heal.
Led by Gulfside’s experienced bereavement counselors, this free, one‑day camp offers age‑appropriate activities that help children explore their emotions, build coping skills, and connect with others who may be experiencing similar feelings.
Camp Highlights Include:
🎨 Creative arts and crafts
💬 Guided activities for emotional expression
🌞 Outdoor fun, including time at a splash pad
🍽️ Lunch provided
🍦 Ice cream truck celebration
💛 A meaningful closing ceremony for campers and their families
All activities are thoughtfully designed to support children in a natural, compassionate, and supportive environment.
Who Can Attend:
Children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade (including rising 6th graders) who have experienced the death of a loved one.
