This vibrant evening of Latin music will showcase the talents of Los Angeles-based classical guitarist Alex Park, performing alongside the 100-piece Lee’s Summit Symphony.
The concert will feature Alex Park in two stunning guitar concertos, highlighting his virtuosity and passion for Latin-inspired melodies. The program also includes a dynamic performance of Kirt Mosier’s exhilarating arrangement of Tico Tico No Fuba, with Alex joining the orchestra to bring this lively piece to life. Additionally, the symphony will perform Arturo Márquez’s Danzon No. 2, a captivating work that pulses with the rhythms and spirit of Latin dance.
