Guitarist Yaron Deutsch

Guitarist Yaron Deutsch is best known for his work in the field of Avantgarde & experimental music. He is a member of the chamber quartet NIKEL and a frequent guest in Europe's leading ensembles & orchestras dedicated to performing contemporary classical music. Recordings featuring his playing are available on Kairos, Wergo, Sub Rosa, Col Legno & Bastille Musique labels.

Apart from his performative activities, he is a professor for contemporary music at the University of Music in Basel (Hochschule für Musik FHNW / Sonic Space Basel) and guitar tutor at the Darmstadt International Summer Courses. As well he directs the International Festival for Contemporary Chamber Music in Tel Aviv – “Tzlil Meudcan” (In Hebrew: “Updated Tone”).

Fie Schouten (bass clarinet) and Bart van Dongen (harmonium) will be performing as guest artists with Yaron Deutsch.

In collaboration with "Nieuwe Noten," a concert series featuring contemporary chamber music programmed by bass clarinetist Fie Schouten and composer Aspasia Nasopoulou.
