About this Event
The annual Guild Awards celebrates the outstanding achievements of Griffith University Gold Coast students, clubs and societies and volunteers. Volunteers, clubs and athletes are an integral part of the Student Guild, and these awards aim to acknowledge students for their contribution and achievements to these areas.
Those involved with the Student Guild are invited to attend the awards evening to celebrate all of their hard work throughout the year.
The evening will include dinner, beverage package, photobooth and a DJ.
Dress code is semi- formal or cocktail dress attire.

Ticketing releases:
Round 1 - Monday 8 July to Sunday 18 August
- 5x tickets for each club to be used for the executive committee*
- Volunteers who have completed over 20 hours**
- Nationals and Intervarsity Griffith Team Leaders**
- UniSport student ambassadors**
- Diversity and Inclusion Award finalists**
- 2024 Student Guild Board, Sport and Cultural Committee Members and GCAP Board members**
Round 2 (To be released based on availability – Monday 19 August to Sunday 15 September)

- Additional club committee members and club leaders***
- Volunteers over 10 hours**
Round 3 (If any tickets remaining - Monday 16 September to Friday 27 September)

*Executive committee consists of what and who the club has submitted in their 2024 affiliation/re-affiliation application only. All clubs will have a President, Secretary and Treasurer. Additional roles may be Vice-President, Events Coordinator, Social Media Director, Diversity and Inclusions Officer, etc. Please note this is your core executive committee, not your general committee or mentors/liaisons/volunteers. This is for the 2024 executive committee. Incoming 2025 Committee is not included in this round.

***Must have a titled position within the club and/or can demonstrate strong involvement within the club leadership area. Must be a current GUGC student.

Limited tickets. Once sold out, no more tickets are available. First in first served basis. No ticket holds.

All registrations will be monitored.
Event seating and registration:
Clubs - Maximum of 10 people per group for clubs. Register each member/ticket to your group.(ie. register each exec member from the dog lovers clubs under "Dog Lovers Club") There is a maximum of people per table at the awards so smaller groups will likely be seated next to others (great opportunity to network, make friends and meet new people). This is in the questions section. Any questions, ask Kaitlin.
Individuals - Please note if you are a volunteer, a Sport Award finalist, GCAP, SACC/Board member or Diversity and Inclusion Award finalist then you will need to register as that group. - Register yourself as a club if you want to sit with the club instead. Any questions, ask Kaitlin.
Terms and conditions*
- Tickets are non-refundable and only transferable to the event's official waitlist.
- 18+ only event. Valid proof of age ID required (current 18+ card, drivers license or passport).
- Student must present valid Griffith University Student I.D at the door, along with 18+ proof of age I.D. Name on ticket must match student I.D.
- Underage or unduly intoxicated persons will be refused entry to the Guild Awards regardless of tickets being pre-purchased.
By purchasing a ticket to this event you consent to the following:
- The Student Guild, its employees or agents photographing/filming you and using an image of you the Student Guild thinks fit in its absolute discretion to promote the Student Guild and its events or activities.
- All rights to the image are that of the Student Guild.
- Release the Student Guild from any claim by you, or on your behalf, arising out of the Student Guild’s use of any photograph/video of you.
