Join us to explore and learn more about the areas of Marsden Moor where trees are being planted, leaky dams installed, and restoration and research work being carried out. All with the aim of helping the landscape become more resilient to climate changeRepresentatives from the National Trust's Landscapes for Water initiative and the CASTOR treescapes UK project will give short talks in key locations along the route about their respective work and research, opening up discussions on the future of the valley from multiple perspectives.

Children welcome who can walk the distance and terrain
Please bring suitable clothing, waterproofs, sturdy boots, lunch/refreshments.
We will encounter some uneven terrain and some off-path sections.
Please note: a researcher from CASTOR will be filming the walk, with the aim of using the footage in a film being made about how people relate to and care for nature in the Colne Valley, to be shown in 2025.
