This Park has been the pivotal centrepiece in many popular sporting events but is now under threat from a new proposal: a motorcycle race track.
For now, it's home to an ancient olive grove, the ephemeral Botanic Creek, school sporting fields, a children's playground, a pepper tree boulevard, and much more. Find out about "King Rodney" the man after whom this Park was named. Wear sturdy shoes for a walk of about 1.6km. Approximately 1.5 hours duration. Meet at the corner of East Tce and Bartels Rd. (southern side of Bartels Rd) Children most welcome. Bring your dog, on a lead!
