What to bring/wear
This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! Sturdy footwear is always recommended.
Suitable layers, waterproof clothing and insect repellent are also recommended. You may wish to bring binoculars.
Accessibility and terrain
There is a pedestrian kissing gate at the reserve entrance which is accessible to most wheelchairs. There are no other barriers or steps along the reserve access path.
The majority of the terrain is flat and made up of compacted earth (which can become waterlogged in winter). Please get in touch if you have any specific accessibility concerns.
Toilets and catering
The nearest toilets are at Haxby Shopping Centre two miles away. Pubs, cafes and shops are also in Haxby.
