Guided Walk at Fred Howard Park

Come join us on an interpretive tour of Fred Howard Park beach with Ranger Conrad!

We will be learning about the beach ecosystem and all the parts that make our beach so special. All levels of knowledge are welcome.

Meet in the beach parking lot 5 minutes before 10am. This is a free tour, but space is limited.

Guided Hike information

Ranger will meet participants at the Fred Howard Park beach parking lot 5 minutes before 10am.

• Guided walk is under a mile, expect sandy terrain
• The tour duration is 30 minutes
• Bring drinking water, refill stations available at the beach
• A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended
• No pets
• No smoking on beach
• Restrooms available
• Ranger led

Additional notes: It takes approximately 10 minutes to reach the beach parking lot from the park entrance.
