Guided Tree & Seed Walk
Advertisement
A guided 1.5 hour walk, with discussions about:
- Why we need to protect the existing forest
- How collecting local native seeds helps
- what trees are native to Sherwood and how we can identify them
- What happens next with the seed and growing on (with opportunities to get involved if you like)
-Where / when we will plant out the trees
If seeds are available on the day, there’ll also be an opportunity to help collect tree seeds for the community nursery 🌱
Great for beginners and nature lovers, suitable for all ages.
