Experience this years Peace Prize Exhibition in a unique way! Our curators will talk about the creation of the exhibition.
Every year, the Nobel Peace Center creates an exhibition about that years Nobel Peace Prize laureate in just 8 weeks. This year’s exhibition Democracy on the Brink tells the story
about the struggle for democracy in Venezuela and how democracy is under threat around the world. In the exhibition, you will encounter the story of Peace Prize laureate Maria Corina Machado, and you will be challenged to reflect on what you can do yourself to protect democratic values.
We offer two guided tours on this date:

Join a guided tour with curator Serge von Arx where he takes you through the exhibition and tells the story of how it was created in just eight weeks. Everything from spatial curation to creative processes and which ideas are behind all the choices you will be met with in the exhibition.
15:00 | Norwegian
Director of exhibitions, Henrik Treimo, will provide an insight into the exhibition and share his experiences with idea processes, spatial curation, creative processes, and how the exhibition team managed to form the exhibition in just eight weeks.

The guided tour last about 30 minutes and is included in your entry ticket. There are maximum 30 people per guided tour. You register for the tour when arriving at the museum.

Hvert år lager Nobels Fredssenter Nobels Fredssenter en ny utstilling om årets fredsprisvinner på bare åtte uker. Årets utstilling, Democracy on the Brink, handler om kampen for demokrati i Venezuela og om hvordan demokratiet er truet verden over. I utstillingen møter du historien om fredsprisvinner Maria Corina Machado og du blir utfordret til å tenke over hva du selv kan gjøre for å beskytte demokratiske verdier.
