Beginning May 1st, Visit Mason City invites you to explore the Riverwalk District and Waterfront Plaza through a guided tour that brings together the best of music, architecture, and nature.Held on the first Friday of each month, May through September, at 9:00 AM, Riverwalk Tours offer a relaxed, one-hour walk along scenic Willow Creek. Along the way, you’ll discover public art, native plantings, and thoughtfully designed spaces that reflect Mason City’s Prairie School roots and rich cultural heritage—ending at the stunning Harmony in Light sculpture, which glows softly as a welcoming gateway to downtown.
