Guided Park Meditation

Meditating helps us build mental muscles and mental strength, so that when our world feels chaotic or stressful, we have the mental ability and strength to ground or center ourselves with our breath and managing our racing thoughts.

Our last guided meditation in the park was relaxing and enjoyable. All levels, especially beginners, are welcomed.

Tickets are $10 per person.

Past participants have shared their intention for attending: “for inner strength”, “relaxation”, “learning how to sit with my feelings”, “I’m a parent and this is me-time/self care time”.

Join Dani La Barrie, Licensed Psychotherapist & Happiness Transformation Coach, for a Guided Meditation in the Park gathering the fourth Saturday of every month at Black Point Park in Homestead/Miami. We meet in the grassy area next to the paved parking lot, from the SW 248th Street entrance of the park. Look for a large "Meditation with Dani La Barrie" sign.

No meditation experience is required. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, sheet, or towel (whatever you're most comfortable with). If you suffer from lower back pain, you're welcome to bring a cushion, pillow, or lawn chair. Bring water; wear sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable clothes. Come solo or bring friends :)
