Guided Night Hike at Wind Wolves Preserve

Uncover the nocturnal wonders of the San Emigdio Canyon Trail at Wind Wolves Preserve! This guided hike is approximately 2 miles with some uphill sections. Event is subject to cancellation due to unsafe weather conditions, including excessive heat warnings. Recommended for ages 8 and up (no strollers).

Please plan to arrive at the front entrance at 7:15 PM for check-in. Only registered participants will be admitted (NO WALK-UPS). Gates will be open for check-in from 7:15 PM and will lock at 7:45 pm. Hike starts at 8:00 PM.

Reservations are required and open June 28th, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. You can register up to 5 people. Call Wind Wolves Preserve at (661) 858-1115 for questions or more information.

About Us

Wind Wolves Preserve is a 93,000-acre nature preserve located approximately 30 miles south of Bakersfield, and is owned and operated by The Wildlands Conservancy (TWC). The preserve is open to the public daily and visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, camping, or attend a staff led program, all free of charge.
