Guided Forest Therapy Walk
About this Event
Join us for a Guided Forest Therapy Walk, a slow and immersive experience designed to help you reconnect with our more-than-human world.
Forest Therapy is not a hike, naturalist program, nor fitness activity. Instead, it is a gentle practice of slowing down, awakening our senses, and spending intentional time with the land. During the walk, your guide will offer a series of simple invitations that may include wandering, observation, sensory awareness, reflection, and opportunities to share in community.
No prior experience is needed. All you need is comfortable clothing, sturdy footwear, water, and a willingness to slow down. We will move at a relaxed pace with frequent pauses and opportunities to share.
This walk is offered through the Alliance for Wilderness Engagement and guided by Trek Reef. AWE operates on a reciprocity model: all are welcome regardless of ability to contribute. Those who are able are invited to make an offering to help sustain these programs and make them accessible to others.
Come as you are. You belong here.
