Experience the natural world at a slower pace through guided Forest Bathing. During this gentle 2½-hour experience, participants will balance wandering, rest, group reflection, and quiet individual exploration. Guided sensory invitations encourage deeper awareness through sight, sound, touch, and smell, while fostering a stronger connection to the natural world.
Inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or “forest bathing,” this immersive experience offers an opportunity to slow down, unplug, and practice being fully present outdoors. Participants will also learn how wildlife uses its senses to navigate the forest. Guided by Penny Hightower, a naturalist and Certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT). Limited space available.
Ages 16+; $35 general public/$25 CNC Members (price per person). Advanced registration required 2 days before each class.
