Guided Dog Hike with Kristen Valenti: Blackledge Falls, Gay City State Park

• Each ticket comes with a copy of Dog Hiking New England co-authored by Kristen Valenti
• Each participant may bring one dog to accompany them on the hike. Dogs must be leashed and comfortable around other dogs and people.
• When registering, you will be prompted to sign a waiver through Eventbrite.
• Guided by author Kristen Valenti with support from River Bend Staff.
• Check in begins at 9:15am. The hike will begin promptly at 9:30am.

• Trail Name: Blackledge Falls extended loop into Gay City State Park
• Type of trail: Loop
• Distance: 2.76 miles
• Elevation: ~300 feet
• Sturdy hiking boots recommended with ankle support, as the trail can be rocky.

• Meeting Spot: Large parking lot (Blackledge Falls parking lot) along Route 94/Hebron Ave
• GPS Coordinates: 41.69745, -72.4557
• Alternative Directions: From Welles-Turner Memorial Library in downtown Glastonbury, head southeast toward CT-94 W/Hebron Ave. Continue following Hebron Avenue for 8.5 miles until you see the Blackledge Falls sign and entrance to the large parking lot on the left.
