About this Event
Shirley Place is home to a lots of native and migratory birds throughout the year. The goldfinch, downy woodpecker, Cooper’s hawk, and even racing pigeons have all been spotted here.
Join us on Saturday, September 5 at 8am for an introduction to the many birds you might encounter on visits to the site, as well as deeper histories of some species as they relate to the occupants of Shirley Place.
Bring binoculars (if you have a pair), comfortable clothing, and water for yourself. Donuts and coffee will be provided.
A donation of $12 per person is appreciated but not required. In the event of rain, we postpone to Saturday September 12 at 8:00am.
