Let’s Talk Permaculture!Permaculturist, Patrick Kelly, will be the guest speaker at the Boonsboro Environmental Commission’s February 12th meeting.
Patrick has been transforming his Knoxville, Maryland farm into a sustainable, natural, beautiful, and productive ecosystem. Patrick will be speaking on points that can translate to the backyard garden, as well as to bigger ventures by referencing his experiences on his farm.
Some of his points will be:
- Tips on growing native plants, trees and fruits. (like Pawpaws)
- Examples of water/rain management.
- Explanations on the importance of pollinators and other helpful insects and bugs.
- Information on grants.
All are welcome to attend!
