The title of her lecture is "πππ«π¨ππ°πππ’π¬π‘ ππ₯ππππ¬ π¨π πππ₯π¨π§π π’π§π : ππ§ ππ§πππ«π¬ππππ’π¨π§ππ₯ ππ±π©π₯π¨π«πππ’π¨π§ π¨π ππππ§ππ’ππ² ππ§π ππ’π§π¬π‘π’π© π°π’ππ‘ ππ¨π«ππ’π πππ¬π¨π§ππ§ππ." PhD Candidate, and co-organizer ππ¨ ππ―ππ«π’π§ (NTNU, ILU, Pedagogy) will deliver a response.
Nana Osei-Kofi, Ph.D. (she/her) is Professor Emerita of Women, Gender, & Sexuality at Oregon State University, US. Her areas of scholarly focus include critical and feminist pedagogies, the politics of education, arts-based research, and Black European feminist studies. Her new book, π΄πππππ€ππππ β ππππππ ππ π΅ππππππππ, was published by Northwestern University Press (2024). Other publications include the chapter "Antirasistisk pedagogik: Motarkivering som social omsorg," in π΄ππ‘ππππ ππ πππ ππβ πππ‘ππππ ππ π‘ππ: π πππππ π‘ππ ππ π’π‘πππππ, π ππΜπππππππ, ππβ π£ππππππ πππππππβππ‘ππ (Kriterium, 2024) (with Lena Sawyer).
Ro Averin (they/she) is a PhD Candidate in Pedagogy at ILU/NTNU, where they analyze and explicate racism and antiracism in teacher training, and education more broadly, within the Norwegian context. They do their best to find ways to bring their work outside of academe, whether as Director of the arts non-profit Rafiki Art Initiatives, as a writer, or through creating opportunities for Black folk to gather and connect with the land.
