Guest Chef Dinner - Featuring Jessica Bauer of Altius

Chef Jessica is generously volunteering her time and exceptional culinary talents to work alongside our culinary students in preparing an unforgettable multi-course dinner featuring seasonal ingredients, refined techniques, and thoughtfully crafted flavors.

As with all Community Kitchen Pittsburgh Guest Chef Dinners, proceeds directly support our culinary jobs training program, creating pathways to employment and opportunity through food.

A Pittsburgh native, Jessica Bauer is the Executive Chef and Owner of Altius, where she has earned a reputation for creating approachable, modern cuisine rooted in exceptional ingredients and thoughtful technique.

After graduating from the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, Jessica continued her culinary training at The Boca Raton Resort & Club before returning to Pittsburgh, where she rose through the ranks at The Carlton Restaurant and later became Executive Chef of Bistro 19.

Known for her creative, seasonal menus and commitment to quality, Jessica has been featured in Pittsburgh Magazine, Whirl Magazine, and culinary events throughout the region. Today, as Executive Chef and Owner of Altius, she continues to create exceptional dining experiences while mentoring the next generation of culinary professionals through community events and culinary education.

Hosted in our commercial training kitchen, Community Kitchen Pittsburgh's Signature Guest Chef Dinner Series gives our culinary jobs training students the opportunity to work alongside some of Pittsburgh's most talented chefs. As they prepare and present each multi-course dinner, students gain valuable hands-on experience and learn new techniques from chefs who generously volunteer their time and talents.

As one of our social enterprises, proceeds from every Guest Chef Dinner directly support our mission, helping us provide no-cost culinary jobs training to adults facing barriers to employment.

Seats are assigned prior to the event. You will be prompted during checkout to enter seating group requests, physical accessibility needs, and food allergy disclosures. Please note this is a fixed menu and our kitchen is not a nut-free facility.
