Whether you're new to Hobart or have been here for years, Guess My Accent is your go-to event to make friends, and build connections. Since 2019, we've been connecting people from around the world in Hobart.
Our events are fun, casual, and welcoming to everyone, regardless of your language skills.
Imagine a place where you can chat, laugh, and learn with people from diverse backgrounds. That's Guess My Accent! We value connection, courage, growth, respect, and responsibility. Join us and feel a sense of belonging, embrace new challenges, and learn from each other.

It's free to attend, and you’ll usually find 20 to 35 friendly faces ready to chat.
Don’t worry if the RSVP numbers look low here – we have many regulars.
Event Details:
Location: 222 Elizabeth St, Hobart TAS 7000
Date & Time: From 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
Cost: Free!
How it works:
6:30 PM - 7 PM: Welcome & Registration
When you arrive, head over to the registration desk to grab your name badge. While you’re at it, feel free to grab a drink at the bar, settle in, and get comfortable.
7 PM - 7:30 PM: Group Activities ( Before the event day, an email will be sent with the activities details)
