GTC Homeschooling Hub: Meet, Connect & Ask Questions
When: Every First Thursday of the month
Where: Cheshire Public Library
Host: Annie Holland or volunteer
Cost: Free
Come join us for a relaxed Homeschooling Hub at Cheshire Public Library!
This gathering is an opportunity for homeschooling families to meet one another, make connections, exchange ideas, and spend time together. It is also a welcoming space for parents who are new to homeschooling or considering it and would like to ask questions or hear about the experiences of other families.
While the adults talk, the children can spend time together in the Children’s Section, look at books, play, and get to know other local homeschoolers.
You are welcome to come with questions about:
• Getting started with homeschooling
• Choosing curriculum and learning resources
• Creating a routine that works for your family
• Homeschooling laws and requirements
• Finding social and educational opportunities
• Supporting different learning styles
• Joining GTC Homeschoolers and participating in our activities
• Anything else you have been wondering about
This is not a formal class or presentation. It is a casual opportunity to connect, socialize, share experiences, and support one another.
Please bring:
• A water bottle
• Any comfort items your child may need
• Your homeschooling questions, ideas, or favorite resources to share
This is not a drop-off event. Parents and caregivers are expected to remain with and supervise their children.
We will be meeting in the Children’s Section of Cheshire Public Library. Please remember that this is a public library, so children should be supervised and families should be respectful of other library visitors.
