The Gryphon Youth Group is for teens in grades 7 to 12 who are having difficulties dealing with problems in their lives or could use more skills in coping. This includes teens who are making poor decisions, have low self-esteem, or are experiencing challenges with their mental health. We offer a fun weekend workshop providing them with a chance to learn healthy coping strategies while developing peer relationships. The workshop is on Saturdays from 10:00am to 3:00pm. At the workshop, we discuss topics such as emotions, thoughts, stress, self-esteem, mental health, resilience, relationships, internet safety, sexting, etc. These topics are presented in an interactive and youth-focused manner.
