Join us at GRRROWLER’S Tap Room & Beer Garden for the inaugural GRRROWLER’S Dachshund Derby at The Shacks Summer Kickoff in The Colony.

What started as a fun little dachshund race idea has quickly grown into one of the most anticipated community events of the summer.

Enjoy live dachshund races, rescue organizations, dog-friendly vendors, giveaways, food, cold craft beer, and family-friendly summer fun throughout the property.

Event highlights include:
• live wiener dog races on a custom three-lane track
• “Pretenders” races for non-dachshunds
• rescue fundraising benefiting participating organizations
• dog-friendly vendor booths and giveaways
• craft beer and delicious food throughout The Shacks
• photo opportunities and awards
• dog-friendly patio and park atmosphere

Hosted in partnership with The Colony Economic Development Corporation, Visit The Colony, Chewy VetCare, Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center (Plano), Altstadt Brewery, Dallas Doxies, Pampered Pooch Events, Cody’s Friends Rescue, and Duck Team 6 Street Dog Rescue.
