Join us Sat. July 18th for a performance of "Growing Things" with Margaret Moody Puppets! This interactive puppet show is designed for children and families to convey the excitement and challenges of growing things to eat.
Margaret Moody and Pam Shanley operate puppets Cow and Mouse, while Peter Lehman plays beautiful tunes on mandolin to accompany the action. Rooted in Moody’s residency at a Community Farm, the show covers topics such as planting, composting, and soil health in an accessible, kid-friendly format with an interactive “harvest” finale.
This is an outdoor performace at the Millicent Library (on the UU Lawn, weather permitting. Rain location: Town Hall). This free family event is open to all, and especially great for kids 3-8.
This program is sponsored by the Fairhaven Local Cultural Council, a local agency funded by Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
