Growing Together: Tree Education Workshop
Join the City of Rancho Cordova’s Urban Forest team inside the Old Schoolhouse at Soil Born Farms, 2140 Chase Drive, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 9 AM to hear from local knowledgeable tree experts. Learn about the importance of urban trees and proper tree care techniques, including watering, pruning, mulching and irrigation. There will be speakers from the City of Rancho Cordova/Wild Rye Consulting, the City of Sacramento, CalFire, and Arborist Blake Watkins. The workshop is free, and light refreshments will be served.
