5th Annual Women in Engineering Day Happy Hour

Capital Engineering recognizes and celebrates strong women engineers on our team and in the greater Sacramento region. Whether in the AEC, technology or any other industry, we SEE you and we APPRECIATE you!

Please join us for our 5th Annual Women in Engineering Day Happy Hour event on Tuesday, June 23rd to celebrate the exceptional women in engineering working to improve our local communities every day.

This year, we are proud to partner with Tech Trek STEM Camp for Girls at UC Davis. Born from the findings of research generated by the AAUW (American Association of University Women) in the late 1990's, Tech Trek camps across California offer week-long STEM-based camps to girls, nominated by their STEM teachers, whose families do not have the means to provide this type of experience. The campers experience classes, field trips and workshops taught by volunteer women in a professional STEM field. In an effort to help raise awareness and funds for this amazing Tech Trek Jemison STEM Camp at UC Davis, our happy hour will highlight their program and the extraordinary impact they make every year while introducing youth to the empowering world of STEM. With this event we hope to bring together women in engineering roles from various industries, at all career levels, and provide a safe space for laughter, camaraderie, and a moment to let the worries of your day take a back seat. This is a SOCIAL gathering - no program planned.
