About this Event

Welcome to Bethany's Freedom Garden of Wellness 2nd annual Growing To Heal Workshop! It's our 2nd anniversary, and we are so grateful to spend it with you! Join us for an enriching afternoon of storytelling, healing, and herbal exploration as we journey through the ancestral history of medicinal herbs and their role in holistic wellness. Enjoy a late lunch while learning how our ancestors traditionally used herbs in teas, decoctions, tinctures, salves, and other natural remedies as essential tools for healing during times when access to conventional medicine was limited or denied.

Participants will gain hands-on experience creating a custom herbal blend to take home using a thoughtfully curated selection of medicinal herbs, edible flowers, and dried fruits. Learn the fundamentals of blending for both wellness support and flavor balance while deepening your understanding of plant-based healing traditions.

This gathering also offers an opportunity to connect, engage, and fellowship with others who are passionate about holistic living, community wellness, and reclaiming ancestral knowledge.

Cost covers lunch, all herbal and plant materials, and educational materials.
