Presenting “Growing Grand Island!”- An Arbor Day celebration at the WNY Welcome Center on Grand Island. Join us Saturday April 25th 2026 from 11am - 2pm with a day of FREE earth friendly activities. This event is co-sponsored by Taste NY at the WNY Welcome Center, the Town of Grand Island, The Grand Island Nature Alliance, and the Grand Island Conservation Advisory Board. Local vendors and partners, demonstrations & presentations! We will be giving away FREE native NYS trees and shrubs (first come, first serve) and featuring sustainable local products and small agriculture businesses from the Taste NY store. Other WNY environmentally friendly businesses and organizations will be joining us as well with informative tables & displays, and items for sale!
Other activities include:
• Family crafts and activities
• Educational handouts
• Free samples of sustainable food products inside Taste NY
Other vendors & activities will unfold as we get closer to the date!
