Growing your own fruit and nuts can be empowering and tasty. In this 3 hr class we will cover specific site and soil preferences for over a dozen different types of fruits and nuts that grow at Red Beet Row food forest. We will cover a number of topics concerning fertilizing, pollination, pest and disease control and food storage with special recommendations for organic culture. We will sample as many ripe fruits as we can find on the day of the class.
Class fee: $10-30, sliding scale
